Getting Started: Centurions and Senior Golf Association
On November 8, 1983, a group of North Ridge Country Club members met for the purpose of forming a fraternal club for those members who played at least 100 rounds of golf each year and to promote fun through golf.
The club was called "The Centurien Club".
Members present were:
Harold D. Johnson was elected President, Leroy Register was elected Vice President, and Greer Pruit was elected Secretary/Treasurer. Dues were set at $10 per member and all attendees agreed to pay the set dues.
Pat Watson, Bill Rein, and Fran Donaldson were asked to draft by-laws for the new club.
Leroy Register and Harold Johnson were delegated to contact potential 1984 members.
